DEFRA Approved version of the ever popular Saltfire Oslo stove, the new Oslo-Eco is so ultra clean burning, it has achieved the official legal status of 'DEFRA Approved'.

- This means it can be used to legally burn wood in ANY area of the UK including areas classified as Smoke Control. Few quality cast iron stoves meet this strict criteria, which allows the burning of wood in cities such as London, Manchester and Birmingham and many other towns and cities previously banned from burning wood on fireplaces and stoves.

The Oslo-Eco uses an Advanced Preheated Air Inlet allowing an ultra-clean burn with amazing control and stunning visual flame effects.

The level of burn is so clean, your chimney will just show clear vapour coming out instead of smoke.

Very little ash will be produced and the glass stays crystal clear and clean.

The unique dancing-flame effect will leave you mesmerised.

The Oslo-Eco is Multifuel capable - as well as wood it can burn any smokeless coal. A riddling grate is included which makes it easier when burning solid fuel.

As with all Saltfire Stoves the solid virgin cast iron construction and handmade attention to detail is second to none and will give you a lifetime of loyal service. Internal thick cast-plate lining replaces old fashioned board lining so no more crumbling fire bricks.

Can be flued from the top or the rear of the stove.

Fully compliant with all EU and British Standard regulations and complete with DATA plate specification on the rear of the stove.
