The 'Poseidon' is an advanced, purpose designed central heating back boiler stove producing three types of heat -

-The integrated boiler system is plumbed into your central heating system and provides heat to upto 12 radiators and domestic hot water supply

NB: Boiler stoves need to be installed into open vented systems and not pressurised systems. If your current system is pressurised, you may need to incorporate a Multi-Coil tank in order to integrate.

-The thick cast iron body radiates heat directly into the room

-And the stove also provides a flow of pre-heated warm air into the room using its advanced convection system.

A high quality cast iron woodburning/ multifuel boiler stove. Rated at 20kW, so it is capable of warming the coldest of homes. Will burn any dry wood / manufactured smokeless coals and anthracite.

Poseidon has a very large viewing glass so you can watch the fire all night instead of the TV.

It will typically supply around 12kW to the water system and around 8kW direct to the room - as the water system then gets upto temperature, more heat will become available direct to the room.

To calculate your heating requirements - A 12kW boiler equates to around 42,000 BTU (1kW = approx 3500 BTU) - Your radiators will be measured in BTU. To calculate your requirements, add up all the BTU s of each radiator in the house.

Its wrap-around integrated boiler has been designed for maximum efficiency providing rapid water heating.

Complete with 4x standard 1inch water connections for both radiators and domestic water in and out.

The Poseidon Boiler stove has a useful riddling grate - ideal for those intending to burn a lot of coal, and quality chrome handles and fittings.

Saltfire stoves have been designed for maximum heat and efficiency with minimal emmissions. Each stove comes with 12 month guarantee. Our stoves are hand made with 'virgin' cast iron - this means that they are NOT made using remelted scrap iron which can produce weak and brittle cast iron. The high temperature stove glass is sourced in Germany and chosen for its clarity and high heat resistance.

All of our stoves comply and conform to EN13240 - This means they are CE approved for use anywhere in Europe, and comes with relevant data plate.

Inside is a multifuel riddler grate, ashpan and Advanced 'Airwash System' to keep the front glass clean, with adjustable primary and secondary air inlets, so you have complete control, enabling you to control how fast and fierce the fire burns, or for a slower smouldering fire with hours between refills or even to burn slowly overnight.

All stoves are also supplied with flue pipe connector and can be used with either top OR rear flue outlet.
