These add rigidity to the joints of the twinwall system and also visually they help to finish the appearance nicely.
To calculate the number of locking bands required, add up all components which use the twistlock mechanism ie. lengths, elbows, rain cowl, appliance adaptor, then subtract one - this will give the total amount of locking bands required.
A high quality superior product, precision engineered stainless steel insulated flue system which can be used instead of a traditional type brick chimney.
This will effectively create a Class1 Chimney from scratch and most systems can be completed in less than a day.
The easy to use twist lock system is simpler than Lego or Meccano.
There are two main ways to construct your chimney system :-
A) Go through an external wall and up the outside like a drainpipe
B) Go straight up, passing through the ceiling and room above (where you have the option to box it in), and out through the roof.
Use a locking band on each joint for best results.
